Just spent 4 nights at this wonderful apartment. We were two couples ending a trip to Croatia and Slovenia. The apartment is better than the photos. Absolutely full of wonderful art, comfortable and the metro stop outside the door makes getting around a breeze. It was lovely to be able to come home for a late lunch and then venture out again into the crowds feeling refreshed. My husband summarized the apartment this way....you've gone to visit an elegant "National Trust Building" except you've stepped over the rope! Do hope to come back to this exquisite apartment and thank you to Marc as well for his great service.

This was a great place to stay! Metro steps outside the front, short walk to Notre Dame, Isle St.Luis, Place des Voges. The Marais district is intriguing and at your doorstep. We walked across the street at night and drank wine on the banks of the Seine. Truly a Pairs delight while staying in this intoxicating city!

Marc was at our beck and call the entire time.

Commentaire de Kathy

My two girlfriends and I have just had the quintessential Parisian experience staying in this apartment! We were overwhelmed by the spaciousness and the old world grandeur as we entered the apartment through the stately wooden double doors from the winding staircase (there is an elevator, as well). Marc, who met us upon our arrival from the airport, gave us a full introduction to the apartment including all it's modern day amenities making us instantly comfortable in our new home. The two handsome living rooms with wooden panelling are warmly furnished with comfortable seating and floor to ceiling windows looking out onto the streets below. Not only is the apartment wonderful, but it's location could not be better. The Marais is a wonderful neighborhood full of history, shops, bistros and cafes. Just steps from the front door is the Metro, Ile Saint Louis, and the Seine. The housekeeper visited twice during the six days, keeping the apartment in mint condition. We were able to dine-in when we felt like it and even gave a dinner party!, taking advantage of the full kitchen facilities and the beautifully appointed dining room. We also enjoyed delicious meals at local cafes and brasseries. Working with Jim in the reservation process was so easy and all the details of the rental were clearly explained. Marc, part of the team in Paris, was always available and quick to solve any dilemma we might have and had many suggestions for tours and sights. Their combined attention to detail made the visit flawless! This was a most memorable trip for the three of us and staying at Celestins added to it immeasurably. We recommend highly working with Jim and his team and look forward to booking with him again in the near future.

Four of us stayed in this wonderful apartment during a trip to watch a little tennis at the French Open. I rented an apartment before while in Rome and loved the experience, so I wanted to try again. Little did I know what wonderful care Marc, Mathias and Jim would take of us! Marc was very flexible when it came time to check in (our plane was 5 hours late from Atlanta!) and showed us everything we needed. (Silly me - I brought my own dishwashing soap, laundry soap, etc. but absolutely everything you needed was there! It was truly a home away from home.) I emailed Marc a few months before our trip with several odd questions (Where would you shop for antique wine goblets? Where is the best ice cream? Where would you find the best palmier?) – he responded immediately. Marc's recommendations for dining, shopping, sightseeing, transportation, etc. were perfect. We had one glitch – on Saturday morning our keys wouldn't open the locks and we were locked out. I called Marc, who was out of town, but he called Mathias who showed up within 5 minutes, offered us another apartment while waiting for the locksmith, and within 2 hours we were able to get back into the apartment with no problem. That's the kind of attention to detail you get and that's how it was the entire stay. I've already spoken to Jim about renting a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment from them for a month - I hope next year! Thanks to all, Marc, Mathias and Jim for a wonderful stay. Alice P .

Delightful, beautiful property in a great location. There's a good deal of street noise in the daytime and evening, but nothing excessive. The beds are a bit smaller than expected but comfy. Plenty of room for 2 couples. We all loved it.

Commentaire de Al Dodds(Arkansas)

The apartment was wonderful, spacious, filled with antiques, comfortable and situated right in the heart of Paris, with easy access to all other areas. We look forward to coming back and staying here again. Thank you, Merci Beaucoup!

I stayed for 10 days with my sister and two nieces. We absolutely loved the apt! Great location, very comfortable and the kitchen was a huge plus. We held 2 dinner parties during our stay. I love the Marais...great neighborhood and the cafe recommended to us (Bobar) was lovely...very friendly staff/owners. The hotel was very helpful and the pick-up/return to the airport was seamless. Also we enjoyed the pleasant help from Carmella the young lady who cleaned the apt for us. All in a all, we had a great time and I would definitely stay at the apt in the future.

We have just returned from an amazing five-day first visit to the beautiful city of Paris. Our stay in this exquisite 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment just across from the Seine and Ile Ste Louis was perfect. The elegantly appointed rooms were very comfortable and allowed for privacy for two couples. We walked to the Louvre, Notre Dame, Musee D'Orsay, the left bank and many other places. At the end of the day, we found our way by Metro to the Sully-Moreland stop which is just a few steps from the front door. The local bistros, brasseries and restaurants are delightful, as is the flower shop just downstairs. Many thanks to the gracious and helpful staff at Hotel St Louis Marais, the owners of the apartment and Jim for creating a wonderful Parisian experience!

C'est magnifique! Everything about our stay in the beautiful apartment on Quai de Celestins was excellent. The location perfect-metro stop at the front door, walk across the bridge to Isle St. Louis or to the right to the wonderful Place des Voges and the Marais. The size incredible - two sitting rooms, large dining room, TWO fabulous bathrooms, two comfortable bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen and the laundry room a true bonus. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. Service to and from the airport was great. We would return without hesitation to the apartment and hope we have the opportunity to do so. We will also recommend it without hesitation. Merci beaucoup! -- Janet
